Welcome to the first edition of CIO Excellence Awards by CII

CII is instituting its 1st edition of the CIO Excellence Awards 2022 in partnership with Protiviti, a global business consulting firm.

As the CIOs and Tech Leaders are gaining center stage as critical management functions, the awards will recognize these business leaders who have demonstrated exceptional value to their organization and achieved high results through continuous stakeholder satisfaction.

The awards will be aspirational for the CIOs in India, across industries, who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities and exemplary achievements in their domain and made a significant contribution to their organization’s growth and resilience. The awardees will be an inspiring example of how IT leadership and business stakeholder partnerships are reshaping the tech landscape in Indian industry.

Following are rules of nomination:
 
1) Nominations will be sought for Sector and Theme based awards. Nominations for Main Categories will flow from these.

2) One can apply for one award in Sector based category and upto 3 Theme based categories.

Eligibility Criteria:
  
Chief Information Officer/Chief Digital Officer/Head of IT/IT Director of companies listed, privately owned or public sector undertaking (excludes proprietorship and partnerships)

The nominated individual must directly report to the CEO/MD/Board and not to any other business Head within the same company.
 
Nominated individual must have been in the same role within the company/group for at least two (2) years as on the date of nomination.

Company revenue qualifying criteria of >250 Crore INR will be considered
